Shipping Bouquets Overnight

Safe Shipping for Your Bouquet

You will want to overnight ship your bouquet as soon as possible after the event. The US Post Office may be your best choice.

With convenient locations sending an arrangement or bouquet overnight should be around $60-80 per shipment.

Please find directions below and reach out with any questions.

Supplies you will need:

  • One Cardboard Box
You’ll need a cardboard box – just a little larger than your actual bouquet.
  • Packing Material
Crumpled newspaper, crumpled wrapping paper or Styrofoam packing peanuts. Do not use bubble wrap, plastic bags, or plastic products to package your flowers.
  • Packing Tape
    Ordinary packing tape works great.
  • Mementos, Photos, Invitations, etc.
Please include any keepsakes such as photos, invitations, programs, prayer cards, ribbons, or fabrics. You will want to make sure you protect these items with cardboard cushioning if necessary and within a plastic bag to keep them dry.

How to pack your bouquet:

  1. Keep your bouquet in water until you get ready to ship. It is important to ship your flowers within 24 hours of your event.
  2. Take a wet paper towel or cloth, wrap it around the stems, place the stems in a plastic bag to catch any water, and secure it all with a rubber band. This helps to keep flowers hydrated.
  3. Keep the flower heads as they are. Do not wrap.
  4. Make a nest with your peanuts or crumpled paper. Place your bouquet in the nest. Pack more peanuts and paper around the bouquet to ensure it is secure and does not move during shipping.
  5. Please add a note with the name the reservation was made under and if you have any photos or mementos.
  6. Close & seal and it is ready to ship! Once your bouquet is packed ship right away.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do my flowers have to be fresh?

No! I can absolutely use old flowers that are pre-dried. The only difference is that I do not have to dry your flowers for you. This means that the state in which they are dried and how I receive them will stay and I am not able to bring them back to their fresh state. I also cannot manipulate the shape that they are in (press to fit certain molds etc). If you have pre-dried flowers you may be limited with options so please message me with questions and pictures of your flowers prior to booking so I can guide you.

How long will my Art preservation piece last?

Your piece of Art will last for many years with proper care.

Resin pieces last decades and decades and will usually last longer than wall hangings. Wall hangings will last a long time but remember to be very delicate with them. For both resin and wall hangings please remember to keep all pieces away from direct heat or sunlight as this can cause resin to yellow over time. Cleaning your piece should also be done carefully. Anything sharp or rough dragging on the surface of resin or glass and can leave grooves or marks. Please clean with either glass cleaner or Isopropyl alcohol and a soft microfiber cloth.

I can re-coat or fix any scratched preservation pieces that were made by me only. Please message me with questions. Shipping and handling costs are customers’ responsibility.

Are all flowers made or withstand resin preservation?

Unfortunately, no. Flowers tend to dry differently based on color and how delicate they are. All flowers are unique and some dry better than others. Bright colors (oranges, yellows, pinks, blues) tend to stay vibrant. Sturdier florals (roses, carnations, hydrangeas, foliage) dry and maintain their shape better. Most flowers usually deepen and change a bit in color throughout the process.

Flowers can be bruised from surviving an event and also from shipping. Though usually minor, these worn-out areas show up as translucent or dark spots when cast in resin as it soaks resin. I can only preserve your flowers in the condition in which we receive them. I strongly urge you to follow the packing and shipping instructions for the best results. Please contact me if you have any questions.

How do returns works?

Custom items, orders, and reservations are nonrefundable.

I am also not held liable for any damages that may happen during the shipping process or if the flowers are delivered to me damaged. I will communicate with you when I have received your bouquet before I begin the drying process so any changes in the order can be made based on any damages to the flowers.

What happens to the rest of my bouquet?

I select every single flower very carefully. I take into consideration all the factors that affect each flower (wedding day, shipping conditions, their original quality from the florist, etc).

I choose the most beautiful and healthy flowers and greens from your bouquet after the above factors are taken into consideration. I can order replacement flowers if anything is too damaged to use.

If flowers are damaged, I am able to order flowers from my local florists for replacements. You would be responsible for the cost of replacement flowers if you choose to purchase them.

I do not ship out the remaining flowers from your bouquet with your order. If you choose to use your remaining flowers you are able to put them into one of the add-on orders.
